CBT
(Cognitive Behavioural Therapy)

How it can help you

If you feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, anxiety, or low mood, CBT helps you understand how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours are connected—so you can begin to change them.

What it is

CBT is a structured, evidence-based therapy that gives you practical tools to challenge unhelpful thinking patterns and build healthier ways of responding in everyday life.

Best for

CBT is widely used for anxiety, panic, OCD, phobias, generalised anxiety, and low mood, helping you regain a sense of control and stability.

EMDR
(Eye Movement Desensitisation & Reprocessing)

How it can help you

If past experiences still affect how you feel, think, or respond today, EMDR helps you process those memories so they feel less overwhelming and no longer hold you back.

What it is

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing) is a structured, evidence-based therapy that uses bilateral stimulation to support your brain in safely reprocessing difficult experiences.

Best for

EMDR is highly effective for trauma, distressing memories, and emotional responses that feel stuck or unresolved.

Life coaching

ADHD Coaching
(Executive Functioning)

How it can help you

If you struggle with focus, organisation, or following through on tasks, ADHD coaching helps you build practical strategies that actually work for your brain.

What it is

A structured, supportive approach focused on executive functioning skills, helping you create routines, improve focus, and manage daily life more effectively.

Best for

Ideal for adults with ADHD who feel overwhelmed, stuck in cycles of procrastination, or frustrated by systems that don’t work for them.

Meet Anna

Specialised Therapy Professional

Anna is the founder of Antilepsis and a therapist based in Colchester, offering both in-person therapy and online sessions across the UK. She specialises in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), EMDR therapy, and ADHD coaching, supporting individuals who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward.

Her approach is warm, thoughtful, and grounded in both professional training and lived understanding. Having been through it herself, Anna recognises that choosing therapy is a deeply personal decision, and she places strong importance on creating a space where clients feel safe, understood, and able to explore their experiences without judgement.

Anna works with individuals experiencing anxiety, trauma, overthinking, and difficulties with focus or emotional regulation. Her focus is not only on helping you understand the root of your challenges, but also on equipping you with practical tools and techniques that support real, lasting change.

Alongside therapy, Anna offers ADHD coaching focused on executive functioning, helping clients build structure, improve focus, and develop strategies that work with their way of thinking. She also recognises the overlap between ADHD and unresolved trauma, and carefully tailors her approach to ensure each client receives the most appropriate support.

At Antilepsis, Anna’s aim is simple: to help you gain the right perspective - so you can move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and a stronger sense of self.
